I was born in Abingdon, Va. where I still make my home. I am married to a wonderful man- Ray. We have been married 31
years! We have three children :Heather, Philip, and Jeffery. We have two grandchildren,
Arron and Duke. My husband and I are memers of Temple Baptist Church in Abingdon. We are on our 28th year of membership.
We are active in our church, he is a deacon, and I am active in children's ministry, and teach in our women's Sunday School
class when I am not traveling.I have been singing about 20 years.I planned to begin recording after my youngest child graduated
high school. My Lord had other plans! In 1998 the Lord would not let rest , so I recorded my first project ! At
this point, I have completed five Gospel projects. I have written and recorded 29 original songs.
I graduated as a nurse in 1977. Since then I have worked in family practice, hospital and ob/gyn. I was head nurse
of Abingdon Healthcare for Women until surrendering to full-time ministry in May of 2004.
In the past 3 years I have shared the Gospel in song in West Virginia, Missouri, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Tennessee, Delaware,
New York, Maryland,
and Georgia. I am a God Called, born again Gospel singer. I do not charge a set fee, but know that if the Lord has called
me , He will supply
my needs. I do request assistance with expenses if possible.
My music is Southern and Country style Gospel. I am a songwriter and
most of what I sing is original. I do not present myself as a "perfect Christian ",but I promise you that my Lord is
perfect . He is the music and without Him I am nothing.
I am a BMI songwriter and in 2003 did my first national radio release. It was titled "Meet Jesus "
and was released with Lighthouse Promotions. Also I was voted The Female Vocalist Of the Year for the Central Division
Of the CGMA for 2003 . I competed I in the international competition in Branson, Missouri. This competition included the USA,
Canada, and Australia. I finished in 2nd place .
